Fermacell 2400 x 1200 12mmFermacell is a general-purpose high performance board, which can be used as an alternative to plasterboard. It contains roughly the same constituents but is made in a totally different way. The 80% gypsum is mixed with 20% cellulose fibre and water to form an homogenous high-density board more like MDF than plasterboard. It is available in one grade only: the standard board is impact, fire and moisture resistant, with superior acoustic and load-bearing properties than plasterboard.
