The two bags of kiln dried sand delivered were split open reseled with tape and placed into another bag but were underweight, all the other goods delivered were fine.

Pleased with driver delivery and quality of merchandise. Less pleased that I now appear to be left with a large wooden pallet the goods came on which is too big to be taken for recycling. I would have thought a collection service from yourselves so that the pallet could be reused would be more environmentally and customer friendly

My delivery was left outside my garden in the street, delivery driver didnt knock to tell us that he had left it or was even delivered. I arrived home at 4 to find it on tge street.

Delivery asked to put on a line on one side of drive, told to do so as I went back on to a call for work. Came off the call to see 3 bulk bags taking up most of drive, unable to get a car on the drive as wanted, not happy at all.

Good product delivered on time and to location as requested, reasonable price very competitive with others, only issues was I ordered 3 bulk bags of the plum20 mm slate and received 1 bag of plum and 2 bags of grey, which wasn't an issue just more annoying, as used the grey to cover the plum so all was the same colour, but in fairness the labels on the bags did say plum but they were not all the same colour, a visual check may of highlighted this issue before delivery.

Thanks for taking the time to do a review, it does make a difference to let our staff know that it is appreciated what they do, they are all working extremely hard in very trying times to get goods out for you. I've checked the batch of slate you had delivered against stock and from the supplier quarry all say you had 3 bags of plum slate. The plum can look very grey at times the colour changes sometimes when it is wet.

Ordered 2 tonnes sharp sand and 4 bags of cement

It took a week to get the timber from initial order, and I had to call to get an update.
If I was a business, I could not wait that long for timber.

Thanks for your review, for a small range of products a week is not uncommon for delivery, most people and businesses do cope with this. We as a company are having to plan for deliveries that were taking a week pre Covid that are now taking between 8 and 12 weeks. So our yards are very full having to hold much more stock to cope with demand. Thanks and stay safe Dave Anderson.

You were supposed to contact me when the cement in plastic bags came in and still haven't. In the mean time I ordered 2 in paper bags but putting them on wet sharp sand just rotted the bags by the time I got them.

Hi Thanks for taking the time to review, we are still not selling plastic cement online hence you didn't get an in stock notification, the product is still on allocation from our supplier. The paper bag should not have degraded in one day if it was damaged we would have exchanged it for you.

Customer rang still waiting for it to arrive.Rang left message asking for an eta.(Had no reply to my call.Sent email.Email back Vehicle broken down order would now be next day.Again afternoon no arrival.My customer rang and told there was a mix up with the order some items were coming from another branch and were incorrect so had to be sent back for the correct items.My customer said I had been told it was not delivered due to break down the staff member changed his storey.NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS.

Not informed when delivery was to be made (estimated 4 weeks arrived in 3 weeks). Driver arrived unexpectedly at 8.00 on the morning with no prior notice. Driver placed pallet near road on shared drive so had to move it quickly. one of the bags of clippings was split, so when moved it a large amount of chipping went on the drive, and had to put back in the bag. Previous Trellis had no knots in so not as good quality. Previous order was 5 / 5 as no issues.

Not a good experience as order was delivered to wrong address when I rang re-delivery.They arranged for a wagon to go and collect it then deliver to me but on arrival the weed suppressant wasn’t with order so I had to go and collect it myself. Don’t know if it had been sent with the order and had gone missing or it had been missed off the order. The original pebbles I ordered were out of stock so I chose a different type that were slightly cheaper but wasn’t offered a refund on the difference

Should had arrived on the friday didnt get a phone call to say it wasnt coming so wasted a full day sat about. rang monday and got no explination as to why it didnt come on the friday but they said it was going to be delivered that day. only bonus was i got four free slabs for the inconviniance but that took some doing. if they had have rang me on the friday explaining why it wasnt going to come that day they would have got a five * for shipping.

I have ordered many items from parr’s over the years and it used to be free delivery over 40£ and now is a significant £100 and apparently no way of ordering less and paying delivery charge. I ended up ordering things on my last order that I didn’t really need at this time in order to have essential items delivered. On my last but one order the delivery was short by 1 bag of sharp sand. Despite emailing them twice and telling driver who assured me he would report it they have failed to reply.

I was told I would receive goods on the same day and I got 3 shipments on different days and never got a mail to tell me this.
Product is good and I understand we are in a strange situation with this COVID.
I would use Parrs again as I understand how busy the workers are there and know thing can easy get missed.

Not A happy review.
I ordered 6 treated sleeper from Parr because you had the six in stock and could deliver.
I only got 5 got delivered.
The note attached said 1 to follow, following re stock.
If I knew I could not get the full amount I would of tried another supplier.
The customer who I'm working for was not very happy, with the job un finished and I cant give her a date when it will be finished as I don't know when the sleeper will arrive.
Still waiting for Parr to update me with ETA.

One of the three mdf sheets was clearly bent and warped, why bother sending as now I have send it back and wait for another delivery. I can’t decide if it’s just carelessness or J P expect me to take their rubbish stock.
Reported it to the depot on thursday and still waiting for a call back, looks like I will be calling them tomorrow.
Come on I’m sure you can do better if you try.
